How GGBET Reviews an Operator: Our Published Method

GGBET is an independent guide. We are not a casino, we take no deposits, we hold no player funds and we run no games, and nothing on this site is for anyone under 21. Because we describe operators without being one, you are entitled to know how we do it. This is the method, written down so you can hold us to it.

Eight criteria, applied in the same order every time

  1. Licence disclosure. Does the operator name its regulator and licence openly, in a place a reader can find without digging, and does that claim survive a check on the regulator's own published register?
  2. Payment rails. Which methods are actually offered to a Philippine account, and are the rails named honestly rather than implied by a row of logos?
  3. Terms clarity. Can a first-time reader find the wagering requirement, the bonus expiry and the withdrawal conditions without a dictionary, and do the terms contradict the marketing page?
  4. KYC rules. Is identity verification explained before you deposit rather than sprung on you at withdrawal, and is the document list stated?
  5. Complaint route. Is there a named escalation path beyond live chat, and does the operator say where a dispute goes if its own support cannot settle it?
  6. Responsible-gaming tools. Are deposit limits, session reminders, cool-off and self-exclusion present, documented and reachable from inside the account rather than buried in a policy page?
  7. Support channels. Which channels exist, what hours are claimed, and does the operator publish them itself rather than leaving them to third parties?
  8. App distribution. How is the mobile product delivered, and is any download offered from the operator's own domain with its permissions visible?

What each criterion is worth

We publish no scores and no rankings, because a number implies a precision we do not have. What we can tell you is which failures we treat as serious enough to say so plainly in the text of a page.

CriterionWhat we check from outsideTreated as serious if
Licence disclosureThe operator's own public claim, against the regulator's published registerNo regulator is named at all, or the claim does not match the register
Payment railsThe methods and currencies listed on the operator's own cashier information pagesLogos are shown for rails that are not actually offered
Terms clarityThe published terms, read end to end against the promo pageThe terms and the promo page disagree on wagering or expiry
KYC rulesWhether verification and the document list are explained before fundingVerification is only disclosed once a withdrawal is requested
Complaint routeWhether an escalation path beyond chat is stated in writingThere is no route named anywhere
Responsible gamingWhether limits, cool-off and self-exclusion exist and are reachable in-accountTools are described but cannot be found by a logged-in user
Support channelsChannels and hours as the operator publishes themContact depends on a third-party chat group or a number sent by a stranger
App distributionWhere any mobile build is offered from and what permissions it requestsFiles come from a host unrelated to the operator, or ask for SMS access

What we can verify

  • Public documents: licence claims, terms and conditions, bonus terms, privacy policies and published fee pages.
  • Whether a regulator's own register lists an operator, on the day we look.
  • Whether a stated tool, page or document actually exists and can be reached.
  • Whether two of the operator's own pages contradict each other.
  • Game-level published figures such as theoretical RTP, where the provider or the game's own information screen states them.

What we cannot verify, and will not pretend to

  • Actual payout speed. We never publish an operator's processing time as fact; those windows are set by the operator and change. Check its cashier page.
  • Fees, minimums, maximums and bonus amounts. Same reason. Where you see a number on this site that is not a public rail fact, it is an illustration we have labelled as one.
  • Internal practice: how a risk team behaves, how a specific account dispute was settled, or whether a payout was fair.
  • Anything requiring an account we do not hold. We do not run deposit tests, and we never write that we tested something we did not.
  • Game fairness beyond published figures. We cannot audit a random number generator.
  • Player counts, win totals and testimonials. We publish none, because we cannot check any of them.

Real facts about the public payment rails are a different matter and we do state them: InstaPay transfers move in real time and carry a per-transaction cap, while PESONet settles in batches on banking days. Those are properties of the rails, not promises by any operator.

Some links on this site are partner links, which means a brand may pay us if a reader opens an account. That is how the site is funded, and you should assume it applies wherever an operator is linked.

What it does not buy is wording. No payment, offer or commercial relationship changes a sentence, adds a criterion, removes a warning or reorders a page. Nothing here is for sale except the link itself, and if an operator fails one of the eight criteria the page says so whether or not there is a commercial relationship behind it.

No scores, no rankings, no invented authors

You will not find a rating out of ten on this site, a best-of table ordered by our opinion, or a signature from a reviewer who does not exist. Pages are written and maintained by the GGBET editorial desk and carry a date so you can see how fresh they are.

We also do not claim to have won anything, and we never describe a game outcome as likely. Our RTP pages exist to explain why a published percentage is a long-run average and not a forecast of your session.

When we are wrong

Operators change their terms, their rails and their tools without telling anyone, so any page here can go stale between the date on it and the day you read it. Treat the operator's own live pages as the authority on its own numbers, and treat us as the explanation of what to look for.

If something on this site is out of date or simply wrong, the correction route is our contact details on the about page. We would rather fix a page than defend it. GGBET is a guide, 21+ only, and the final decision about whether to play is always yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you score or rank operators?

No. We publish criteria and findings in plain sentences. A score would suggest a precision we cannot support from outside an operator's systems.

Do you test deposits and withdrawals yourselves?

No, and we will not say we did. We read published documents and check public registers. Any page claiming we timed a payout would be inventing it.

Are you paid by the operators you describe?

Some links are partner links and may pay us. It changes nothing in the text, including the warnings, and it never adds or removes a criterion.

Why do you not publish payout times?

Because they belong to the operator and change without notice. Processing windows, fees and minimums are set by the operator; check its cashier page for the current figures.

Who writes these pages?

The GGBET editorial desk. We do not invent named human reviewers or credentials, and every page carries a published and modified date instead.

How do I check a licence claim myself?

Take the regulator and the licence name from the operator's own footer, then look it up on the regulator's own published register rather than on any list a third party shows you.

Before You Choose an Operator

Compare PAGCOR-licensed operators, read the bonus terms and set a budget before you deposit.
